Have you seen the ATT Commercial that's shown in this link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QddkHo1X5qY

Well, I liked the song that they used in the commercial so I did some searching and found that the song was written by a musician named Nick Drake, a songwriter you may not know or remember from back in the the 70's. He committed suicide at 26 after not having widespread success. His songs are now more popular that they ever were, having been used in the ATT commercial and a VW commercial  a few years ago.

I also found a link to the full song:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2JjJPDz3EE

And here's the lyrics to the song.

FROM THE MORNING
------------------
A day once dawned
And it was beautiful
A day once dawned from the ground
Then the night she fell
And the air was beautiful
The night she fell all around

So look see the days
The endless colored ways
And go play the game that you learnt
From the morning

And now we rise
And we are everywhere
And now we rise from the ground
And see she flies
And she is everywhere
See she flies all around

So look see the sights
The endless summer nights
And go play the game that you learnt

From the morning

------------
What a beautiful song. My interpretation of the lyrics is that 'morning' represents the early part of one's life and 'night' refers to our older years. He is basically telling us to appreciate life and all it has to offer.

Check out some of his other songs, such as "River Man" and "Which Will".

Lou, I love that song!!!!!  I looked him up also after seeing that ad.  So sad that his time "came" after he passed.

I love the liberty mutual "responsibility" ads as well. One of the songs from those ads is "Half Acre" by Hem:

I had never known much about Nick Drake, but then a while ago I heard a long story about him on NPR that included interviews with family, etc. The NPR archives have a bunch of stuff available to listen to.
