I've just compressed the first video of my local peregrine family. Here is a streaming Quicktime version, particularly good for Mac people:
http://blip.tv/file/2428710
or, if you like Windows Media, go here
http://phamilton.onlinestoragesolution.com/2009%20Falcon%20Videos/
and right-click and save Bridge.wmv.
I've spent a lot of my weekends this year with the pair. This season, only one egg hatched, but he pledged successfully in late June, shortly befor these were filmed.
Enjoy!

Paul, I like that you use a tripod when you shoot. This was a peaceful, enjoyable watch. Thanks for sharing.
Lou
PS - I like the poop shot near the start.

Paul, that was great!
What a beautiful pair of peregrines. I loved it when the falcon did his thing and then turned around as if to respond in laughter. It made me laugh too.
I can never just watch one of your videos. I took a trip down memory lane an watched some of the juvies flying. Like Dawn said, we really went through juvie withdrawal this year.
Thanks again - hope you have more to share.

Hmmm. My first attempt last night to post a diamondback rattlesnake was obviously a failure. So here's another....not a Webcam, but a cam I monitor for a university wildlife center--to trap and collar mountain lions in our area to study their behavior. I like this photo taken mid July because it is a clear image of the mountain lion's rear foot...look how big it is, and look how large the heel pad is compared to the toe pads...that's no canine foot!

No, the widlife survey cam is not a Webcam. I wish it were. I must collect the CF card and transmit the images to the biologists if there is something of interest. It's a motion-activated camera. Sometimes we get nothing but birds, coyotes, foxes and deer. What they are looking for is mountain lions.
