From falcon watcher Joyce...
As mentioned in IMPRINTS, an adult peregrine was-seen at one of the buildings in Kodak's Eastman Business Park.- Kodak Park is a huge complex and the falcon could be anywhere.- One thing for sure, there is an abundance of pigeons.
Late yesterday afternoon about 5:15 pm-Brian H and I were heading to-check the-area...

Those are some nice pics of the falcon at Kodak, Joyce! Thanks for being sharp eyed (Brian too!) and being on the spot. I couldn't make out anything definite on the band ID; as you said someone will probably have to get a scope on the bird, or one of us photographers with a long lens will have to get lucky before we ID this one. She's a good looking falcon, to be sure.

I wonder if this is the same falcon who made a brief appearance around the Kodak tower on Sunday of Watchers Weekend...before being escorted out of the neighborhood by Beauty and Archer. I believe it was Joyce, Jeanne, Brian and Dan who saw the encounter with me from the pedestrian bridge.

Beautiful pics of the purple banded Falcon Joyce!
MAK, Dana and I kept watch in the area most of the late morning, afternoon. No sightings.
She is a gorgeous Peregrine. I know we'll get lucky one of these days and get a positive ID. Will she remain in the area? Will we finally get a 2nd nest site? Only time will tell.

Is there a nest box out there? If not can one be put out there? (with a little welcome mat and a gift basket that says welcome to the neighborhood)
proof reading is usually better done before you hit the post button duh

There are no nest boxes in the areas this Falcon has been seen. There used to be two of them on KP buildings located on Lake Ave, but they were taken down.
