I saved a seagull.

I called and found out that he was put down. His leg with the foot dangling was broken and he was missing the other foot. The lady told me that he wouldn't be able to survive. I was kind of hoping that he could be kept in captivity there or  somewhere else. Oh well.

If it wasn't for you, he would be standing somewhere suffering and in pain. His fate was decided and he was able to go more peacefully then most. Although I would be very sad as well. You did the right thing.
