The ruddy turnstone is a rare visitor to Utah with only 15 confirmed sightings since 1930. It was seen on the Antelope Island Causeway recently and enjoyed by many birders traveling to Antelope Island. The photograph seen here was taken by Paul Higgins and will be used as documentation for the Utah Ornithological Society Rare Bird Records Committee. Continued...story and pic
