I don't even know how to read a bird guide! I looked for a bird once.....forget it! Anywho, Charlotte Pier is where Jim P saw the BEAUTIFUL Snowy Owl a few years back, I think! He had some great pics of her too!

ACK-shully, Donna, you're right - take any old LBJ, give me a field guide, and I will get it wrong every time. I like those big, blousy, sassy, can't-miss-'em sorts!

You're right about the Snowy Owl at Charlotte pier. Joyce and Brian are always talking about the Snowy's that hang out there and on the Summerville pier which is on the other side of the Genesee river. For sure I will be checking it out this winter! mbanana
