Saw this gorgeous immature RTH on near Harrier Meadow today when leaving DeKorte.
This was after I saw the Peregrine that I didn't get a picture of...He took off when I tried to get closer to get a picture of him...He was beautiful... happy a perfect adult male (judging from his smaller size).
But this red tail was more cooperative...he was actually posing..didn't mind that three of us watchers were standing practically under him.  gum

RTH were out in force on Sat and Sun during our trip to Bucks County PA for the weekend.  It was the HUGE females on Saturday and the small males on Sunday.

Lucky you FF. The last time I saw a RTH was in Rochester back in 2006. Actually, it was my only RTH that I saw that wasn't moving.

RTH on pole

And who knew that when I took this pic that it would be the future home of A & B.

Thanks and you saw a PF also?? Great weekend for you.  thumbsup

Wait until you see Saturday's eagles.  Like seagulls on the shore!
