CRC Eagle Nesting 2012

At 4:07 pm, Savannah Eagle laid the first egg of the 2012 nesting season. “She had been kind of stooping over the nest bowl for a while when we saw it for the first time,” said Kelsey Hoke, Visitor Experience Manager. “I’m so excited! This is my first eagle season.” Bald eagle eggs are a dull white color and don’t have any other distinctive markings. The shape is “rounded ovate” similar to a domestic goose egg. There is no shine to the surface of the egg.   clap
