OK, the question is "What am I?"
Great pics again! What happened to the baby calf? Did it find it's way back to the crowd??

Yes Donna the calf is safe and sound back with its mama. And I found out why the bull down in the back of the ranch that I was talking with is secluded from the rest of the bulls-it would seem he is an escape artist! Yep a regular Papillon!!! With no motorcycle!!!!!

Wow Lou, that looks pretty close to MAK's pic. Never heard of that Hawk. Thanks

It does look very close, except the tail looks too white in MAK's pic. The Zone Tail Hawk has broad stripes of white and brown. Maybe just the angle. Hmmmmm. I've certainly never seen a Z-Hawk before.

I'm ecstatic to have a camera again and YES I have the best sister EVERRRRR!!!!
In addition to or in lieu of?
2 weeks ago my nieces' dogs knocked my camera out of my hand and it needs repair. I explained it on my day 15 in Paradise post. I don't know if Canon can fix it but when I get home I am sending it to them. So this new one will either replace it or I will have a back up when the other one gets fixed.
I miss alot traveling back and forth to the lake house

Common Black Hawk is easier to say!
That looks pretty close too Dana. Mak does yours have a yellow beak? It looks kinda white-ish.

Ok, so now I'm being told by the experts that it's a Red-tail hawk (dark morph). It could be the common Black Hawk or maybe it's a hybrid of all of them! lol It's a hawk-and a pretty big one!

Day 26 in Paradise was spent with my sis-she took the day off and we just hung out with each other. Tomorrow is my last day here so things are getting a little sad around here. Needless to say I didn't take a nature ride today but I do have an album and 2 videos to share! The first video shows the bulls getting a bite to eat and the second is of the backyard visitors who also get a bite to eat!

OK, 2 questions.....why do some bulls have 2 tags in their ears and some have 1?
2nd video, what is that bird in the background? Sounds like the bird fro the movie Funny Farm!! Always wanted to know what bird made that call!
