Archer had better get his tail feathers home!!!` Company is one thing but the nestbox is off limits!
Ya think?!
I think Beauty is smitten with this young lad! Time will tell!

They do seem to be getting a little too cozy with each other! Archer, where are you? I think in the 10:45 picture, they were bowing to each in the next box.

could she be wanting another fella? If I recall correctly before our boy left he would bow to her and she would not always bow back. Now here she is bowing to the home wrecker (she's a
little sl-uh-t)

Have to go out for a while now, but will be itching to see what Beauty gets up to in my absence... not to mention the absence of Archer!

Has anyone spotted Beauty today? I checked the cams forwards and backwards....nothing. Not even on Mercury, unless she was on the base. Kinda unusual for her not to be seen on one of the cams.

Wasn't able to get out today. Will hopefully be able to check on her tomorrow.

"...we may have a new drama brewing here in Rochester. Where’s Archer? Is he just late returning home, or is this new tiercel going to be Beauty’s new mate?..."
This was posted on Imprints almost exactly one year ago.

A month later, the tiercel was gone and Archer was back.

could this be the same guy as last year? and he just spends his "vacation" with Beauty? Does anyone remember if they were bowing to each other last year?

Not sure if they bowed to each other or not last year, but it will be interesting to see if this Tiercel leaves on his own this year, before Archer returns. What an interesting behavour, if this Tiercel has a mate and nest site of his own somewhere and he winters here in Rochester with Beauty. Very interesting indeed. OK, I just love watching their behavours.
Personally, I hope he does leave and there is no territorial battle between the two Tiercels.

Guess we'll just have to fasten our seat-belts... it could be a bumpy ride!
