Let me just start by saying what a fantabulous watch I had this morning! It began with Beauty on the outstretched money bag hand of Mercury. She flew off and joined Mr.t over on the Frontier Communications Tower. I raced over there but when I arrived they had already flown back...

Luckily, my Mac people have been able to transfer files etc. etc. I have nooooo idea how they do it - just that they can. Hurrah! Gonna miss this old lad, tho.

Not sure how (or IF) it works in Ireland, but I understand Apple has a program whereby you can turn in your old Mac, and whatever it's worth as salvage, they will give you a credit toward a new one, and give the old one a decent burial at least.  My Cube is ten years old now, and at some point I may have to consider a successor, sigh...

Some old Macs can still be useful. We have 2 working 24/7 to  provide streaming video from the Times Square building. If you know of anyone replacing a 2006 or newer Mac that's still in good condition, let me know. (Of course, why would anyone replace a 2006 or newer Mac in good condition?)

My Son's server for his business network is an old purple iMac he got on E-Bay about eight years ago 
Buying that little kid a Commodore 64 when he was six was one of the smartest things I ever did
