Saturday Eagle Buzz

I leave early in the morning to drive to Annapolis on Saturday's to go food shopping. I have just turned onto MD Rt 2N and was buzzed by a large Bald Eagle! And then again! I promptly pulled over, grabbed the Nikon and long lens (was planning to visit the Osprey Nests), ran back down the road, and positioned myself across from the very fresh road-kill that had attracted the Eagle. Baldie flew into a tree (a good distance away), but the D7000 can more than make up for distance
I shot images until Baldie flew away. By 1 PM nothing remained of the road kill except a blood patch (I think it was a red fox or a small dog, as I saw a furry thigh around 10 AM). Enjoy!
