In observance of Earth Hour, the cameras at the Times Square and Powers buildings will be shut off for one hour starting at 8:30 PM tonight, March 26, 2011.

Makes sense to me... esp since Rod learned how to surf the net on his phone before he learned how to make calls!! Me? I do not need to know the latitude of Buenos Aires or the temperature in one of the 'Stans... I do not need to know how to translate from English to Urdu... I just need to make a phone call!!

Several times during Earth Hour, I got the "Twitter is overloaded" page. Apparently, the energy that was saved by turning off lights was used to tweet about it.
