Yep, saw it when she got up. Still 3 and 1 egg now at 3 pm Mountain time, mom just took a quick break. The newest little one is fluffy now, isn't it! :-) C'mon little egg, time to join your brothers and sisters!

Did mama remove the other egg from the "nest", is that it there on the right? She's definitely not brooding it any more from what I see on camera right now. I wonder what she senses to make her do that so fast without giving it a day or so more to hatch? If only we really could read their minds!

ps. maybe she's thinking "small box, three is enough!"

I saw the egg under her before. In the last pics I posted, the kids were covering the egg. When they moved, there it was. When she was done with the feeding, she pushed the egg back in under her. We'll see if it hatches Nancy!

Just saw the 4th egg still tucked under (mom?) brooding, yay! Supposedly they have had snow in the area dtoday, so they are sticking pretty tight to the nest today. We're having lots of rainshowers north of there. But tomorrow it is supposed to be in the 70's, in fact it should be in the 70's to maybe even low 80's the rest of the week, so we might catch a glimpse more of the kids later in the week as it starts to warm (and they start to grow, of course.)

The youngest is a week old today (the oldest is 4 days older, I think) and boy have they grown. They are vocalizing for their food quite a bit now, and have moved down so that now you want to use camera 1 to see them.

Here is a shot of them having lunch. 1:30 local time.
