She seems very used to people. Our red tail pair at Croton Point Park allow visitors to walk right up to them. I believe our female is now on eggs, but our guy is out and about trying to catch the very fat rat at the nature center. We can get up close and personal.
I'm sure DEC has an eye on things and those Washington Square folks are very protective of their hawks.

Bobby and Rosie's babies are growing fast and the plastic bag that was wrapped around the leg of one of them came off without any intervention!

It's located on the 12th floor of the Bobst Library of NYU. Here's a link to a picture of the building and the nest location.
