More Hummer's

Every night I sit and watch these crazy little birds. Sometime I get a shot and other times they are just too fast for me. No need to sign in to look. Enjoy!!

Great pics!  Right now our Hummers are emptying the feeder about every 3 days and the fights over the food is so entertaining in the evening!  Very territorial!  They zoom right past our noses as we sit on our back deck!

  They are great fun to watch. I had them when I lived in Hamlin. 2 feeders hanging right outside the sliding glass door in the kitchen. Sat at the table for hours watching them perch on the pole that the feeders hung on and wait to dive bomb each other.

I got the Feeder at Wild Wings when we all met there a few weeks ago

It's Talon tag for Hummers.....the Juvies like to knock Dad off his spot. I think they all have a sugar high, maybe I should cut back on the sugar I put in...  I have at least 3 Juvies and 2 adults right now.

Like you, these crazy little birds provide us with great entertainment - we watch them from the table during dinner.  We are getting good feeder action, as well as great flower/plant action.

I too have lots of humming bird action here.  I have up 3 feeders and am filling (well only fill 1/2 so the solution stays fresh) them every couple of days.  If we are out on the deck at the patio table, they fly between us and the umbrella pole!  Makes you duck!!     LOVE watching them and have encouraged many neighbors on doing the same.  Wish I could attract them in Southwest Florida in the winter but no luck in our first winter there.  Hints anyone??

annie--this may not work, but i find that my hummers (5) much prefer hybiscus--to feeders

any day---i love them--even if they are a bit hyper- active

Very nice...I've had one single female all summer, so I'm assuming she's a nesting female, but I'm excited for the flurry of migration activity to start soon.  BTW, I also have the upside-down niger feeder...keeps the daggone House Sparrows away.
