McKees was born in PA in 2009 at the McKees Rocks Bridge. C & C decided to honor her birthplace by giving her that name as she was unnamed. She apparently is Hillary's replacement with Titan. She is also granddaughter to Zenith.
Posted in CMNH:
Bravo was Mckee's father (her mom was unbanded) and he was born here at TT to Zenith and Bullet in 1999. Bullet was full brother to the Buckeye of Hilliard.

We all are so sadden with the loss of Hillary! She was so photogenic and Chris and Chad were really "in touch" with her and Titan. It has been really hard loosing her. We all know how that is! But now we learn to love McKees and hope for MANY offspring and a long life for her with the HANDSOME Titan. Over at the Cleveland Forum we know Chris and Chad as our PF Whisperer's. They have the soul of a Peregrine. They get such unbelievable photos of these PF's and they share with us so generously! They are just the best people you would ever be lucky enough to meet!

Haven't made it out and about as much with family in town for the holidays, but found this intriguing... LeFloch flew up with a bat as his prey on Christmas Eve Day. Thought he might share with Lara, but she didn't join him and he finished it off on his own. Chad & Chris on CMNH
Thanks Kris for sending this. Wow, a bat!

Bats aren't totally unusual prey for Peregrines. We're pretty sure that either M or K caught one once. Also, a few years ago, one of our Winter visitors downtown was a very small, unbanded Tiercel. I believe that Dana got a picture of him eating a bat. Pefas do hunt at night especially in cities that are well lit.
