Jeeez, Carol P! Make us all feel bad, why don't you?! You could
at least
have put the list in taxonomic order while you were at it...
Um, wow, I quit?
Oh, no! Don't quit! Like I said, I just happened to be in Montezuma for the day on Saturday. Otherwise, I would have only had a very short list. Just good timing.
LOL OK! Good job though!!

On the way to & from the grocery store...
3 ducks in flight-couldn't tell what kind-just the flapping like mad & not getting very far of a duck
2 kettles of Turkey Vultures
2 probably blue jays-size was right & they were doing the single flap/bullet glide of a blue jay
Small flock of LBJs
3 mourning doves
Sorry but I'm thinking and thinking, what are LBJ's?
Greetings Aafke

I tried to make it as carefully as possible, but I had some problems with the birds like the Sparrows and the House Sparrow, are they the same? There were more. Let me know when you see a mistake.

Thanks for the hard work of putting together the list, Aafke! I'm sure it wasn't easy given that people used all sorts of different names for the same birds.
