A skydiver has captured on camera the dramatic moment that an eagle became entangled in his parachute causing him to plummet towards the ground.

Vladimir Tsar'kov, a Russian adrenaline junkie, was taking part in his first flight over the Himalayas when he suddenly noticed two of the birds of prey up ahead.

The 24-year-old from Moscow let out a short scream to try to scare the birds out of his way but it was too little too late and one of them hit his canvass, getting tangled in the ropes.

What an adventure for both the Griffen vulture and the parachutist.
