Here's a fresh link for astounding photos by Rick Remington of a battle between a snowy owl and a peregrine last winter -  . . . a block from where I live. A snowy spent most of last winter in the harbor.
I'm hoping . . . that'd be a good neighbor.

That is such an awesome series of pics.  Interesting to see the Snowy go talons up by flipping over to defend itself.  I'd sure think twice about coming into contact with those huge feathery talons!  Yikes!  Glad it ended with neither bird being injured.
