Either the photo where we thought five was an optical delusion or what I don't know but four got banded. 3 females, 1 male.   Carol was at the banding so she may have more to add.
Names are Rainbow (my request), Double-Diamond, Seven, all females, and the male is Black Jack.
The rock climber endured  continual threats while the banding was going on above and he was still hanging on the rope.
We had quite a good view from the American side though, don't you think? Smiley

Nice view indeed Sage.  Nice pictures!   clap

From the top, we couldn't see how badly Jurgen (the rock climber) was under attack by both peregrines.  Of course he told us all about it when he came back up.  He only sent up the 4 eyases and did not mention a 5th.

I sent some pics to Mark Nash and Sage.  I'm sure they'll be posted soon.   happy

Two UB kids fledged and made it back to tower!  Two are still at box.  Of course you all know this means it's the beginning of a hairy week!   scared blue  The ledglings were safe and being watched by BB and Yankee, but who knows where they will wind up when they take off again!   scared blue

Are any of the excellent Rochester spotters able to come help this week?

I think Yankee but not positive.  My 2nd attempt at creating an "Out of Bounds" effect in Photoshop.  Original shot taken this am, parent looking for two fledges.  We found both in various places on tower and being watched by BB and Yankee, so all six pefas accounted for this morning.  Ken and his workers are watching and Ken would call if there were any problem during working hours.

We are going back shortly, cuz those kids are bound to take off and not return to the tower.  The best landing spots are nearby roofs around MacKay and the campus, or the water tower and VA Hospital across Bailey.

Couldn't get to the sites today.  Watched the antics on cam when BB dropped off a prey item for the three kids in the box.  They fought each other for the black bird, starling?, dragged it around, Athena hopping around  madly and finally they all gave up.  None knew how to self-feed from a whole, un-prepped prey item!  BB then came back and fed the voracious little ones.
The previously fledged kid apparently stayed the day and didn't want to fledge again!  Ken sent me a pic of BB looking at him from her perch on Kapoor today,  and it was rather silhouetted, so I played with it in Photoshop and here is our great mama pefa!

Plus!  The names the DEC submitted officially are Athena and Andromeda for the girls and Phoenix and Aires for the boys.  I do not have the colors or band numbers yet.
