I made a kodakgallery album of my trip to the Sagrada Familia during my vacation in Barcelona , Spain.
There are Falcons ofcourse!

That is one wild looking building, how on earth did you find a juvie on there? Is this where the nest is? OMG, so cool Carla. Thanks so much, pics are great!

We already knew there was a nest.They didn't choose the nestbox ( with cam )
.When we came there we saw flapping wings,and then you know!

Some choose the nest and some don't. Still very nice building, lots of places to hide, (if they wanted to)!

The cathedral is absolutely beautiful!  Nicole from Montreal went there and sent me pictures of it. I couldn't get over all the detailed architecture!  I watched the cam a few years ago-maybe in 2010-when the female died leaving babies that the father couldn't take care of and then last year, someone stole the young chicks.  Replacement chicks were placed in the scrape but the Falcons wouldn't foster-parent them.  Lots of sadness there so glad that they did well so far this year.  Nice that you got to see them while there too!  Thanks for sharing!
