A bird-brained decision? Major operation launched as 11 firemen close road to rescue trapped PIGEON!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2169729/Firemen-mount-11-man-rescue-operation-Bournemouth-save-trapped-pigeon.html

'I know a lot of people will see this as a lot of effort for a pigeon but from the RSPCA’s point of view, a life is a life

waste of our tax money! A feral pigeon is a pest and on the "general List". The correct way to deal with it would have been to call a pest controler out who would have shot it with an air rifle. This would have cost less than £150 to the tax payer, I wonder how much their whole opperation has cost the state. A life is a life.... Seriously, Its a pigeon. Wake up people.  (One of the comments)
