I'm sitting out on my deck yesterday afternoon before the rain came.  The birds were enjoying the food at my feeders.  All of a sudden, WHOOSH, every bird took off like bullets.  I looked up and saw those familiar pointy wings gliding overhead.  The falcon was scouting out the area I assume.  This year I only have seven pigeons who come regularly to my yard.  Pigeon abatement program at the church where they roost.  And we have had peregrines in the area for the past year.  Maybe the peregrines have a scrape at Sing Sing.  Could be.

No, my camera was still packed without a card.  Now it is sitting with a card on the kitchen table right next to the deck.
