In late June, a house fire destroyed all of Carla P.'s possessions including 3 cats.  Her friends at the Sheriff Dept (Carla retired as a court sheriff deputy) "passed a hat"  and I had heard of another venue for donations but couldn't get the link to work.  Just found it and it works:

Thanx for the link Jeanne, I was thinking about them again.  Has anyone heard from Carla since the fire?
