Nora in FL or others in line with Isaac

I hope any of you in Isaac or close are ok between winds, flooding, and tornadoes.
Nora, I still remember when you packed up Molly and your cat (sorry, I can't remember the name) and took off before one of the big hurricanes.

Wow, you have a great memory! That was hurricane Ivan, and I packed up with Molly, the Golden, and Wesley, the cat.
Thankfully, we are fine. Isaac was headed right toward us, but turned west. So we just got a lot of wind and rain. I did bring all the deck furniture in and closed the hurricane shutters just to be safe.
We were out of power for a while. Everything seems to be OK. I'll have some cleanup of branches and stuff, but the house and Wesley and Molly are fine.
Thank you so much for asking!

Yep, Wesley! I used to know his name. I think Ivan was the same one when I was keeping tabs on a gal that lives closer to the gulf in Pensacola that typed through the same transcription service I do. At least you guys didn't get a direct hit this round.

Happy for you Nora. My family in Port St. Lucie had floods but no real damage. Phew!

Awww they're looking great and talk about color coordinated. I'm so glad you got Molly away from that horrible neighbor!

Congratulation on Molly's 10th birthday, and Wesley's 11th birthday! That is a wonderful benchmark to celebrate, and I wish you all many, many more celebrations. I know how important they are.
Time does go too fast these days, so celebrate each one. Lovely picture~!

I love this picture. We were all younger there. LOL It was taken in 2005. Wesley's tummy is blurry, since he had just had surgery to remove a mast cell tumor, and my friend photoshopped the incision out. Thankfully he has done so well after this type of cancer. Common in dogs, but rare in cats.
