I can't believe how strong they are. Some of those were really huge fish.
Wish I could see what's going on underwater while the bird gets ready to pull those monsters out!

I'm guessing that the little pond is actually a tidal pond (like those found on Martha's Vineyard) because those fish are too big and too abundent for a tiny little pond.  Dale is correct on the strength of the Osprey - dead stop, in water over the head, fish wiggling in talons, and then lifting out of the water to become airborne!  Awesome!   bow notworthy
