Thanks for posting, Allison. It's funny, looking at the video, I know he has to be sedated and weak, but he seems to know the humans are helping him.

It turned my stomach to see that baby's wing. It was so clearly a shot. I hope he recovers soon. I hope somehow, the jerk that did this is caught

In the article, there was an update posted:
Unfortunately, radiographs revealed two fractures in the shoulder. The bird would never fly again and, if kept alive it would be in pain for the rest of its life. It was euthanized earlier today.

I hope they find the person who did this and prosecute them, but this seems to happen so rarely.
