Yesterday I was hit by a car and brought to Wild Heart on deaths door. I was too weak even to stand or open my eyes. Three times Annette went to check on me and thought I had passed. I spent the last 48 hours under a heat light, propped up, getting medication for swelling, fluids and b-12. This morning I had my head up so I got meat baby food mixed with syrup syringed into my stomach. Just now, when Annette was ready to give me my liquid evening meal, I jumped out of the tub at her and darn near gave her a heart attack. It was worth it!!!

I love following Annette on FB...she's a good soul with a huge love for animals of any kind and has a great staff working with her!  She often posts videos of her rescues which is quite touching. This video tribute is beautiful!

kiki was stolen by thieves along with 4 mallards! Kiki has been found and is back with the people who love her!
