Hundreds of sea birds have washed up on beaches from Conrwall to Hampshire covered in a mysterious 'waxy' substance.

I wonder if they have been able to find out yet what this substance is, and trace where it came from. It sounds as if many more birds may have been affected by this than is known at this stage.
