At dusk Wednesday, skiers, firefighters, police and birders rescued a great horned owl from a kite-eating tree down by the Red River in Grand Forks’ Lincoln Park.

Rescued Grand Forks owl makes full recovery!

The great horned owl found tangled in kite string March 6 in Grand Forks’ Lincoln Park is set to be released back into the wild on Sunday.   clap
