It would be wonderful if Jemison finds her way back to Rochester and to her family.

I went back downtown from about 10:30 -2:45. I spent time below the OCSR along the walkway next to the river, on the Andrews st. bridge and eventually the high falls pedestrian bridge. Beauty and Archer were on the north side of OCSR the entire time changing back and forth between the 2nd and 3rd Ibeams. Their energy level defies all reason.
No juvies unfortunately!

They certainly are resting up from the last few months! I think Calli wore them out!

I was on the pedestrian bridge and could easily see the pefa on the 3rd ibeam, but never did see the 2nd ibeam pefa. Sometimes they really blend in. Larry O

Other watchers joined the watch...Carol P, Kathy O and Larry O (in a tie) who was formally dressed to greet a returning juvie. The only activity we had was Archer who went from the HSBC NW corner to the NE and back. Then he flew off and we didn't see him anymore. Beauty remained on the south side of Xerox in her favorite place. Larry and Cleo left and it was almost dark when hundreds of crows took to the sky above us and were cawing and cawing. We had no idea what set them off. Never saw so much crow activity. We wished Suzanne was here to explain this behavior.

Good morning Rochester falcon watchers! Unfortunately Donna has only been able to report for me sparingly as her phone is not holding a charge.
On the Broad St. bridge Lynda joined Dan and I. Shortly after Lynda arrived, Debbie H came by on her way to work for a short stay. Our little guy Archer was busy this morning! As Lynda called it, he did a quadruple performance. 4 stoops in an hours time right in front of us! His first was off the OCSR building missing and flying to the base of Mercury. 2 more stoops off Mercury missing and flying to the SW corner of the Convention center. First time I've seen a falcon on there. A crow landed a foot away from him and started harassing him, then another one did the same. After a brief time Archer lost patience with them stooped on and chased the original crow out of there and returned to the base of Mercury. Dan left and missed the grand finale by just a couple minutes. Archer stooped on a small bird that flew just above the surface of the river. Came up with it in his talons and proceeded to fly to the north side of OCSR. We cheered wildly for his efforts. The whole time Beauty remained on the SW corner seemingly unfazed by her mates performance. I checked before leaving and sure enough Archer was on the top Ibeam north corner opposite his Beauty who was on the west corner. What a wonderful watch on a late August morning in Rachacha!
