Quick Seabreeze Update! 6/22/17

We’ve just received an update on Seabreeze’s progress from our friend Jenny Landry from the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC).

The rehabbers say he is doing great and is currently in a flight cage. There seems to be no damage to his tail, so his feathers should regrow.

We were very happy to receive this good news!

Every day I’m checking for news of Seabreeze….. Thank you so much! My students and I were heartbroken when he fledged accidently…. and devastated by the loss of Charlotte.
Now that school is out, and students have gone home, I’m curious to know if it would be possible to visit Seabreeze…. for a chance to see him up close before he is released. I’ve been a live-stream watcher for years, just retired and would LOVE to see “our baby” in person before I move south. Is there someone I could speak to about this request?

Judi, his last reported location was the East Ridge Animal Hospital (there is a picture of him there in that thread on the Forum). Maybe they know the answer to your question.
