As you’ve read by now, the fledglings have made it out to the gorge. I’ve published some pictures from yesterday morning and afternoon here:

July 5. This AM I saw a Hawk/Falcon on a light post on 390N just before 490. About 3 or 4 more past this Close to #531, a larger one. Since I was driving I couldn’t look well but I sure didn’t see a red tail. It had a dark chest. Could I have seen one or two of our Falcons?

On Monday last, June 30th my husband and I went to lunch at the Olive Garden in Henrietta. Walking in I noticed a licence plate with the name on it “KAVER”. With closer examination I saw that it had a falcon on it also. It was from out of state.
Would you know who it belonged to. Someone who must have been here for the Gala, maybe.

Another brilliant report, Jim. Mariah and Kaver have done so well raising such a large family. It’s interesting that the fledglings often seem to be eye-to-eye with the camera.
I see what you mean. The gorge does provide many priceless Kodak moments. In your experience, how much longer do you think they’ll be in the area for photo-ops?
