Carol P. – The Gorge is Alive With the Sound of Kakking! – July 4, 2008 – Morning
Oh, happy day! The fledglings have made their way to the gorge! Watch out wild turkeys, ground hogs, great blue herons and everything else that moves. You are all fair game!
Lots of Watchers gathered on the pedestrian bridge to welcome the young Falcons. Just wait until you see the pictures everyone took. It may take awhile, but we’ll all post them when we can.
Happy Fourth of July everyone!

Carol P., the idea of the Gorge being alive with the sound of kakking makes my heart sing! I can’t wait for the pictures! Thanks to everyone for your reports and pictures!

Happy 4th of July!!
What wonderful tidings. They have entered the legendary surroundings of the Gorge. It must totally awesome to be standing on the bridge and see them flying there, hearing them squawking. How I wish I could be standing there as well.
Thank you all for being our eyes and ears!!

What great news! Such a beautiful thriving young falcon family! I will be glued to the computer and checking it often for pics. Makes me feel like my own have left the nest. Thank you everyone for all that you do to keep us who are so far away up to date and in the middle of it all!

Rock – I know there isn’t anything planned by the Falcon Watchers for July 12th. So, come on down and enjoy the show. 🙂
PirkkoK – Rhea Mae made a smart decision in choosing the beautiful city of Toronto as her new home. 🙂
Thanks everyone for the Happy 4th Greetings. It was a wonderful day!
