I have to admit even this experienced watcher was getting a little weirded out this morning
when I went from this...

to this...

That is until I looked at this version...

and I wanted to thank you, Marcia, June and Shaky for sacrificing yourselves yesterday afternoon.  I remained for about 1/2 hour after the reception and Archer put on an incredible flying academy for his very young eyases.  He flew back and forth in front of the nest box, performing acrobatic moves that only a Peregrine can do, vocalizing the whole time.

It seems kind of early for this kind of lesson, but Archer was having fun and I enjoyed watching it.   clap

They are!   One more hot day and she's going to call for Archer to look after these kids so she can have a little time for herself.  We'll know because she'll "kick" his backside before she takes off.

All kidding aside, it is a good thing that A&B only have 2 to care for - they have their own routine to work out etc.

And it looks like they are working out their routines beautifully!  I know it took some time at first, but let's face it.  They have stepped up to the task.

Tuned in shortly before 5 AM today - kids were alone and no parent was visable on any cameras.  About 5:10, Beauty & food arrived and a few minutes later Archer showed up with (I think) more food.  All is well  2thumbsup
