I am bereft.  I am a folksinger and part-time musician by avocation, and Pete was a hero to me.  I met him twice, once by chance and once through family connections.  Here's to a life well lived!

Pete Seeger was a particular friend to the public radio station I listen to. They will be rebroadcasting several interviews with him and remembrances of the people who knew him well on their Roundtable show today from 9-12. They stream live on the internet if you would like to listen http://wamc.org/

I love his music. Three years ago I was with my daughter on a trip , and we were listening and singing the hole way  at his favorit songs. And we did have so much fun.
