Very sad. Even though it's in reruns it's still one of my favorite shows.

I've been a big fan of Car Talk for many years. Sad to think that the man who couldn't remember last week's Puzzler for so many years (it was one of their long running jokes) died of complications of Alzheimer's disease.

My local NPR station broadcasts it on Saturday from 10-11 eastern time. I haven't heard if that will be the subject this week, but they stream live at wamc.org

Thanks, Ei. I think it is on in ROC at the same time... also repeated, but can't remember. I will check the web.

Found it on WBEZ page:
"This weekend's Car Talk is a tribute to Tom by his brother Ray.
It will not be somber. Get ready to laugh with a tear in your eye."

Oops, that link doesn't seem to work. You can go to
www.cartalk.com
and click on the Listen to the Full Show link, though.
