It was 6 degrees (F) with a -16 windchill when I woke up this morning! That's a big BRRRRR! The ride into work was better than yesterday, but still slippery in spots. Enjoy the day everyone. Keep warm and safe!
WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS MORNING... ... LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO HAS CANCELLED THE LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY.
* LOCATIONS... MONROE... WAYNE... NORTHERN CAYUGA COUNTIES.
* TIMING... WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE THIS MORNING.
* WINDS... WEST 20 TO 30 MPH.
* WIND CHILL VALUES... AS LOW AS 15 BELOW.
* IMPACTS... BITTERLY COLD WIND CHILLS WILL RESULT IN DANGEROUS CONDITIONS FOR EXPOSED SKIN EARLY THIS MORNING.

Yes, they sometimes do Bobbie. The superintendent of the city schools decided to keep the schools open yesterday morning. I was very surprised that they did not close them.
