News of Achille (Polly and Algo's son)! Thanks to the great care he received at the UQROP clinic, he has been released in the area of the Turcot Interchange. Achille, the male juvenile who had a collision with a window on his second flight, one day after having fledged, was rescued and sent to the UQROP clinic for birds of prey as a precautionary measure, and after detailed examination, it was noted that the juvenile had a weakness in his left wing.

He will stay at the clinic in the company of a male foster parent, who will feed and care for him until he has recovered.

Once it had been determined that the juvenile was in good shape and able to fly again, a release was carried out by SEF in the area of the Interchange.

The release was not made public, at least in part for the safety and wellbeing of the bird.

Achille has been flying well, and playing with his sister.
