Heart Walk April 16th

Many of my coworkers and I will be participating in the Rochester Heart Walk on April 16th. The event is put on by the American Heart Association to raise money to fight heart disease, the Nation's number 1 killer.

We will be leaving from the Frontier Field shortly after 9 AM, and rumor has it that we will be heading down State Street toward the Times Square Building. So be sure to look for our "gang" waving at Cam 1 if and when we pass by.

The influx of donations seems to have stalled at $325. There are only 5 days left until the Heart Walk, and I'd really like to get that number up.

Speaking of numbers...

$3.2million - Current amount of money being funded right here in Rochester
15 - Current number of active studies being done in our community
45 - Number of local jobs created due to AHA funding

A bunch of you know that I'm a runner.  I run to get away from that heart attack.  A dear friend of ours (younger than Shaky btw) just had a pretty serious heart attack and he was in good shape!  Why not consider a donation or 2 or 3 and push Shaky over last year's $1000.00 mark?  Heck!  The life you save could be MINE!
