Do we know if they have fledge watchers here at all?  Or do they just let nature take it's course as it where?  Apologies if we discussed this last year but I don't remember.  Roll Eyes

I do believe there are several watchers at Union County Courthouse.  I can get there, but just a few hours when the travel is easy.  Have to watch at Jersey City, too, where there are close to none.

I did ask that question on the chat over there. The answer I got was that the biologists would be watching the cameras and go do a search if needed. It didn't sound like they had volunteers for a fledge watch like we do. I also told them about our DEC putting color tape over the USFW band to make it easier for the watchers to ID them. I'm not sure if they bother naming them or not. Some can't bring themselves to call Cadence by her name, only by her band numbers. The male is unbanded, but some on chat are calling him Allan. There seems to be two separate chats going on.

That being said, Cadence is an awesome mom. Those eyases seem to be very healthy and active. Unlike the sad situation last year.  heart

Yes, our Cadence has come a long way since her fledge to Powers, her stint in juvie jail, and her close encounter with OCSR that caused her to spend the night on that yellow building on State Street.
