I checked a couple times today and things were quiet. Chatters said the other eggs are overdue so that's a good thing for Cadence's eggs even though sad for the mom.

Sad for Dad too, he tried so very hard with them.  He's sure looking at a long incubation period, too.  Double what he's used to.

It's possible that the other females eggs might hatch when Cadence's do as they weren't really incubated all the time when all the battling was going on. I'm not giving up on them! Miracles happen everyday!!!  yes

Yup. Wasn't it Dori & Louie in Pittsburgh with the same scenario and all 5 eggs hatched?

6.25 pm and I'm kinda sure that's a broken egg by dad's tail on the other side of him..I see two halves.  Now did an egg hatch?  or did one just collapse?  Waiting for Cady to come back or he repositions to get clarification.  No idea what that plant thing is under his tail..unless stuff is growing in there..which does happen at some sites.

I hate how cams distort things..lol..all eggs in tact and a nice plant of some sort there.  A very wet and cranky Cadence is home... wub2

Betty Ann Kelly ยท Stockton University
Today, children at School #4 in Linden, NJ will be visited by Stephanie DAllessio of Conserve Wildlife Foundation, Union County's Falcon Cam partner. Stephanie will introduce them to our adult male and female falcons in residence atop the Union County Courthouse in Elizabeth and through her, more families will get to know 91/BA, the male and soon-to-be born eyases via the falcon cam. Many thanks to Stephanie and Phillips 66 for sponsoring this educational adventure!
