I saw Betty Ann had reported it earlier today.  Well we knew it was coming given the screw had come out several months ago.  Hopefully the blk/green one is okay and doesn't come loose!

Isn’t that very odd that the screw came loose?

Well it doesn't happen often but we've seen other pefa's appear on cam that are missing a band so somehow they lost it.  

It may have gotten damaged during her battle with the previous female here last year when they came down in the gutter - maybe the force of that cracked it or it got caught on the flashing and it loosened the screw(s).

Edit to add:  In fact I remember she favored her foot for awhile after she won the site.

I think the USFWS band is a crimp band-not screwed on. The VID band is riveted on. She could have caught the crimp on something and broke it.

I believe I saw it loose on her leg a while ago and thought it was going to come off eventually.

Just an FYI, the 'sound' is working now here.

I'm not so sure the sound is working in there, all I hear is ringing, no background noise like planes, traffic.
Both were just in the nest bowing and mouths moving but still no sound! Oh well, back to the drawing board!

I see that now, well that is too bad.  I was looking forward to hearing what she sounds like    The male looks panicky, Cadence is blocking the doorway and he can't get out.  That's one of the reasons I don't like this igloo, if an intruder cornered you in there, you'd have no way out.
