We've just received an update on Seabreeze's progress from our friend Jenny Landry from the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC).
The rehabbers say he is doing great and is currently in a flight cage.  There seems to be no damage to his tail, so his feathers should regrow.
We were very happy to receive this good...

Is there any way to get a further report on Seabreeze?  It's been almost a month and a half since the last report, and I'm sure a lot of us would like to know how he is doing.  Hopefully he's been released and is finding his way in the world as a healthy juvie.

I was thinking about him the past couple days and wondered how he was doing too?  Released?  Maybe June could find out for us?

I asked Carol on Friday night, no word on him yet! I know she inquired! This is a big deal to us! I'm sure he's fine and growing some tail feathers!! How long does that take?

We were told it takes 3 weeks to grow the feathers back so they've most definitely grown in by now.  yes

Seabreeze, where are you?  Are you ready to head to the skies yet?

Good question and I'd also like to know the status of the juvie that was rescued from my parking lot at Seneca Towers.   gum
