This is the webcam from a nestbox, a pair of nuthatches is busy in and around the nestbox. At the moment you can see the female, she's busy with closing the big hole, she's doing it with different kind of material like ground, mud, cow poo and even dogpoo.
It's a live webcam and there is sound!!! Very nice. There are 2 camera's, 1 inside and 1 outside.

Thanks Donna, I'm happy to be back, specially to see Archer and Beauty and all other webcams.

The nuthatch is doing a great job, the hole is almost closed. Today the nuthatch did a lot of work by bringing pieces of branches inside and making them smaller and digging in the pile of branches.

It might be stupid because you can be tired the rest of the day,but it is because you are addicted.
I did it twice last week.Greetings Carla

The eggs of the nuthatch are hatching at the moment.
You can see a piece of one baby under the mother.
The mother left the nest and I could see a few babies with punky hair

The babies of the nutharch are growing very fast. De oldest baby is thirteen days now. The weather is very bad, it's cold and it's raining, that makes it difficult for the parents to find food and to keep the babies warm.
