I post that with a big ???

I'm sure you've all been thinking about it as I have. They should be flying by next week and I just don't think I can manage to get to Rochester any time soon this year.

Not covid per se this year, but my responsibilities at work have changed with covid and taking a Friday &/or Monday off is just not going to happen. Too many state mandated reports to prepare and submit. I was hoping they would ease up with the restrictions, but no such luck.

Maybe and end of season get together in late summer/fall?

It's hard to plan a gathering downtown when we are one mishandled 911 call away from weeks of daily protests.

I was just thinking about that.  I feel for folks in Rochester.  I was there a few years ago during protests and noticed that it is not the people of Rochester, but those who came from afar to cause trouble and get their faces on the news.  Rochester, NY and Portland, OR are plagued.  But I also have too many avian responsibilities in my own house to go away for a weekend.

Good luck, my friends and stay safe as you keep an eye to the skies.  Also, keep yourselves upright.

I really miss our watcher weekends, but I do think it is better not to have one this year. I hope that we can have another one soon. Miss seeing our out of town friends.
