I did ask the DEC folks if they would check the egg. I told them we were curious about the thickness of the egg. They said the thickness of the egg could be due to high humidity. They said they probably would not check the egg.
Our eyases are not weighed. I've been to bandings in Canada where they both weigh them and sometimes take blood sample.
