These are not identical time frames-2022 has approx. 4 extra days (equivalent date is 6/22)-but the pattern is holding true!
Some day when I have less on my plate I'll do some comparisons with Mariah, Beauty & Nova...
Thanks, Ei! I'm sure the pigeons have been analyzing these charts for years.

6/8/23 Nest Box Visits
Showers early (I'll believe it when I see it), then cloudy in the afternoon. Areas of smoke and haze are possible, reducing visibility at times. High 61F with winds N at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%. Currently 56F and cloudy. A lot less smoke than there was yesterday morning. We had a lot of window strikes by birds yesterday. I wonder if the heavy smoke cause this? Thankfully, they all survived.
Early morning headcount.
Pictures from today.

I don't think this will end well. 😕
Sadly, Nova and Neander discovered the pigeon nest at the Powers Bldg and they took the two young squab.

Rpigeoncam has ended. Sadly, both Nova and Neander discovered the pigeon nest in the Powers Bldg nest box and took both the young squab. It was just a matter of time. We have no way of knowing where the adult pigeons are, but hopefully they will not attempt to nest there again.

I saw it happen, tough to watch but it was inevitable. Fly free, babies.

6/9/23 Nest Box Visits
Considerable cloudiness. Occasional rain showers this afternoon. High 64F with winds NW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 40%. Currently 64F and breezy with sun and clouds.
Checked ST this morning. Saw Billie and Beau, but no sign of kids, yet.

At 6:33 pm, Nova, I believe, brought in food to the corner of the platform. At 6:48 pm, Artemis took a piece of the meal into the nest box. A minute later, Sterling dragged a small piece of his own onto the platform. After continuing to beak feed Jubilee and taking a few bites for herself, Nova took the leftovers away at 6:56 pm. All the eyases were fed well tonight!

Sunshine and clouds mixed. Slight chance of a rain shower. High 76F with winds NW at 5 to 10 mph. Currently 60F and cloudy with a bit of a breeze. Found a baby Robin in my backyard that couldn't fly yet. Momma Robin was taking good care of the little one, bringing it food. Lots of babies now!

Rain likely. High 71F with winds SE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 100%. Rainfall near an inch. Locally heavy rainfall possible. Currently 64F and partly cloudy. Rain expected at 9 am. We really need rain! I keep fresh water in the birdbath for the critters. When I went out to fill the grape jelly feeder, an Oriole was singing beautifully nearby. They are such beautiful singers. Can't wait to see the babies.
Morning Headcount, Artemis, Sterling & Jubilee
Sterling and Jubilee in the Boy Cave Together, Artemis in the Nest Box.
Artemis to the Boy Cave. All 3 have gone there now.

As well as he should! The 2 girls are much bigger than he is! Thanks for the feeding chart!
