Does Beauty have an injury?

I guess I'm, finally out of lurkdom as I'm still trying to learn how to make my way around this forum; seems quite a bit more complicated than the other, but I love this site and have enjoyed the falconcam for a few years now.  I just wanted to say I saw a red area on Beauty's neck area.  Looking stright at the cam it would be the left side, but actually Her right side.  Has anyone noticed thi?.  I saw it in the last maybe 15 minutes of pics.  Also,  has Archer been around during the day?  I haven't seen him in any pics this afternoon.   Christiane

I did notice that Beauty still has some dinner on her right lower beak...I was going to joke earlier she forgot her napkin, but got distracted.  You can see it's her beak here...


Archer took a turn on the egg earlier...he was on & off for about an hour or so around 2:30

Glad it's only dinner on Beauty's beak.   I just saw the red line and it seemed like it was under her beak.   Just wanted to make sure of what I was seeing.   Also, glad Archer has been around today.   Thanks!  Christiane

Thanks Ei - I was going to post the same response, but got distracted with tweets on my phone.

Christiane - Welcome!  No more a lurker!  I moved your post because RfalconcamNow is direct linked with Twitter so the local watchers can get the information by phone.  I got your post via tweet, and then one of our local watchers texted back because she got the message and wanted to know what was going on because she doesn't have a home computer.

As you peruse through the forum, don't forget to read the first post by Shaky (with the blue pin) under each Topic. It gives a description of the topic, who can access, etc

And this morning she got rid of the dinner on her lower beak, but has some breakfast stuck to her upper beak
